On macOS Mojave (10.14.6) I attempted to run UiPathStudioSetup.exe after installing Wine. Note: at this time, I’m trying to avoid running Windows on a Virtual Machine on this MacBook. The XQuartz appplication must be installed before installing Wine. This application allows to run Embird (native Windows application) on Apple Mac computer. Has anyone experienced success installing and running Studio on macOS using, WineBottler, CrossOver, WinOnX or something similar? This tutorial explains how to install Wine application on Apple Mac. Scroll down and double-click the Utilities folder to open it. The installation process starts after that. Move the latest Wine version to the right side of the window. Wineskin is a tool to run Windows programs but only for Mac OS X. You can run 64-bit applications through Wine on Catalina, but very few applications for Windows are 64-bit. Apple removed 32-bit support in Catalina, which is a critical part of the macOS system that almost all of Wine relies on. I tried installing Studio using Wine, but have gotten errors. You can also install Wine via Homebrew to use Windows-compatible software with EXE or MSI extension on your MacBook. Note that Wine does not work well with macOS 10.15 Catalina. My Windows machines are inaccessible, so I’m trying to use my MacBook to go through the training courses, even though I know that UiPath software is not certified, compatible, nor supported on macOS. ![]() I’m new to UiPath, and learning about it by following Developer Certification track.
